So, you thought you had seen the last of ol' Lugmutt, did you? Well, it ain't happening, Partner! He's back and he's riding a horse! I don't want to give too much away but, it isn't what you think. Send for yours today!
This issue was really moving, Jerry! By the end, you'd tied storylines up so well, I thought, " oh no! Jerry's ending the series!" But then I went back and read the introduction which reassured me that you were just ending the story arc. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed your first 13 issues and look forward to MANY more.
On a sightly off topic note, I checked out your other blog, Southern Fried, and really enjoyed it. Please write more - I promise to check it out, in fact if I can figure this whole RSS thing out, I'll subscribe so as not to miss any of these nice little stories. Much like you laying in the grass to unwind and get a little peace, I found the imagery in these short pieces had a nice calming effect on my imagination.
Great job, Jerry! Got the book in the mail today, and as usual, I sat down and read it immediately. It was so great to see Lugmutt again, any chance there might be more Lugmutt Westerns in the future? As always, some nice moments all around. The condemned’s name of Jake Swoon, Moss Minotaur lamenting the lack of internet access, and of course, Shadowbeast as an island. It’s more craziness all around, and this particular arc came to a nice end. And of course I’m intrigued about the little fish shown in the epilogue. Great work as usual
Hey Jerry - this issue was a really satisfying end to the Lugmutt/Shadowbeast storyline. I never would have thought it would end up in the old west! I especially liked Carl's line "I'll miss my horse".
I can't tell you how thrilled I am that Miracle Force is back! The new issues have beenjust as awesome as ever! Can't wait to see where you go next. Keep up the great work!
